Phunny Business documents the rise and fall of Chicago’s All Jokes Aside, one of the preeminent comedy clubs in the country. All Jokes Aside gave early exposure and early paychecks to important young comedians of color like Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Monique, Dave Chappelle, Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley, Carlos Mencia, Aires Spears, George Willborn, Craig Robinson, Mike Epps, Deon cole, Adele givens, and JB Smoove to name a few.
